Employment seekers turn out for job fair

Hundreds of island residents who are in need of a job flocked to the University of Guam Field House today for the Department of Labor and the Guam Contractors Association's Islandwide Job Fair.

Guam - Hundreds of island residents who are in need of a job flocked to the University of Guam Field House today for the Department of Labor and the Guam Contractors Association's Islandwide Job Fair. More than 50 companies participated in the event that sought to foster and promote wage earner welfare. 

The job fair also helped identified occupational training and profitable employment opportunities that are needed to help develop various workforces in the future.
