Guam - The Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority will be getting a $72,000 grant from HUD to help the island's homeless. The funds were awarded through HUD's Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Program, which helps provide supportive services and transitional and permanent housing for the homeless.

According to Guam Congressional Delegate Madeleine Bordallo, the competitive grant will assist the Government of Guam in providing affordable housing to those most in need in the territory.
