Man arrested for allegedly hitting infant

Guam - 19-year-old Justin Ray Santos was arrested on charges of assault after he allegedly hit an infant. The magistrates complaint states the infants mother observed Santos allegedly place the 3-month-old child on the bed before he began slapping the infants face with the palm of his hand, while allegedly telling the child to "shut up".

According to court documents, the mother took the infant and moved out of the residence the next day. Santos was charged with assault, family violence and child abuse.
