Guam - Despite the speculation about the Philippines, here on Guam a groundbreaking ceremony will be held next Friday for the 1st Marine Corps Relocation Construction Project. Wharves at Apra Harbor will be retrofitted to enhance berthing capacities and to facilitate efficient loading and unloading for transient ships that directly support the Marine Corps forces relocating from Okinawa to Guam.

The $86 million contract was awarded last year to Guam MACC Builders.
