Guam - The Consolidated Commission on Utilities is expected to make a selection on the new general manager for the Guam Waterworks Authority this evening. The CCU has spent the last few months conducting interviews with four applicants.

They narrowed the selection down to two candidates, one that lives off-island and another that lives on island. CCU chairman Simon Sanchez says the decision will be made in executive session and then be announced to the public.

Once the selection is made, the commission will negotiate and finalize the new GM's contract.
