Families return to GHURA housing

After almost two years of construction and renovation, several families who once lived in GHURA 48 are returning.  Families were evacuated after the structures were deemed unsafe.

Guam - After almost two years of construction and renovation, several families who once lived in GHURA 48 are returning.  Families were evacuated after the structures were deemed unsafe.

Today the Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority and the Dededo Mayor's Office are holding a open house as 21 out of the 48 units roofs have been renovated.  This renovation program is one of several that GHURA is undertaking to make affordable housing a reality for more Guamanians.
