Guam - The island's homeless population has increased by almost 100 people. According to the Salvation Army's Juan Trinidad, that's been the trend over the last few years. He told KUAM News, "It's actually a valid concern because obviously there's an increase in homeless everyone can see it you'll see them congregating out on the side of the street we try our best to try to help them unfortunately, we're limited with what funds we get from the federal government a lot of the time the federal government gives us funding just to help those people, but they don't give us money to help operate our program to help these people."

According to the numbers, there are 1,541 homeless people on Guam. Yigo holds the largest population of homeless people totaling 625, while Dededo has 418.
