GMH gets but one applicant for CEO

Guam - Only one individual has submitted an interest in the chief executive officer and administrator position at the Guam Memorial Hospital. Interim administrator Rey Vega says the announcement is slated to close at the end of the week, but officials may decide to extend the application period to broaden the number of potential applicants. 

The hospital received a letter of interest from an off-island individual. Vega says his appointment is only temporary and GMH officials will proceed with hiring a permanent manager after the announcement period is officially closed.
