Arrest made in January traffic fatalities

Guam - Officers with the Guam Highway Patrol Division arrested 52-year-old Timothy Achanto. In January he was driving a pick up truck that collided with a Toyota Tacoma. 58-year-old Toma Kapua and 37-year-old Murphy Sewell both died from head injuries they sustained from the crash.

Anchanto was arrested for two counts vehicular homicide, DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol content level of .08 or more, DUI with a blood alcohol content level of .08 or more with injuries, and four counts of reckless driving. He was booked and confined.
