Guam - Edward Toves was sworn-in today to officially serve as the Judiciary of Guam's new Marshal of the Courts. Toves says he looks forward to the new challenge, telling KUAM News, "I have goals for improving this divisions personnel and our only direction right now is forward towards excellence and efficiency in supporting the Judiciary's vision.

"Being Marshal of the Courts is not what is in it for me, it's what I'm going to do for this division."

Toves has been with the court since 1989. He was selected to fill the vacancy left by Frank Leon Guerrero, now the U.S. Marshal for Guam and the CNMI.
