Jim Gillan appointed new DPHSS director
Guam - There's a new acting director at the Department of Public Health. Jim Gillan was appointed by Governor Eddie Calvo to lead the agency last week Monday. This is the third such appointment to the job, prior to Gillam assigned to serve was Art San Agustin and Linda Unpingco Denorcey.
Gillan bring close to four decades of experience to the agency previously serving as Public Health's facilities manager, planning administrator and deputy director. Most recently he worked for PMC Isla Health Systems. He is an army veteran and holds a Master of Science Degree in Health Services Administration from Harvard University School of Public Health.
