Education Board meeting in Hagatna
According to current chair Ron Ayuyu, a decision may be made today depending on whether enough voting members are present during the meeting.
Guam - The Guam Education Board may see a new chair and vice chair by the end of its meeting scheduled tonight. According to current chair Ron Ayuyu, a decision may be made today depending on whether enough voting members are present during the meeting.
Newly confirmed members were sworn in during a special meeting, but because a representative from the Attorney General's Office wasn't present, they were able to act on anything. While the board is supposed to tackle the Department of Education's Fiscal Year 2012 budget, they may need some time for review.
The meeting is being held this evening starting at 6 at the DOE Conference Room in Hagatna.
