GPD improving Records Section services
by Nick Delgado
Guam - If you've ever had to get a police clearance then you know about the wait. Police Chief Fred Bordallo knows about that too and is working to improve the situation but asks for the public's patience. "We're used to seeing certain days at GPD there are lines of people trying to get police clearances, their employers request from them and we are seeing as the population increases, and that's not just the regular Joe Citizen out there, but also government agencies, too," he said.
Bordallo has also met with his oversight chair, Senator Adolpho Palacios, to discuss other avenues to alleviate the congestion at the records division including discussion on offering online services.
