Guam - The Health and Social Services Subcommittee reconvened for the first time this year at Adelup today. The group discussed their ongoing efforts to develop a five-year strategic health plan for Guam.

Public Health Program Coordinator Bertha Taijeron says they met with Matrix Design Group officials to review draft documents outlining the plans, adding, "It outlines healthcare and social services and some of the challenges that Guam faces related to healthcare and to have a plan of action in place, you look at the challenges, you look at what's working and what's not and how can you fix those areas."

Taijeron says a final five-year health plan is expected to be complete this October.
