Guam - Guam Chapter of American Marketing Association president Ernie Galito spoke before the Rotary Club of Tumon Bay this afternoon. Galito explained the top ten reasons marketing hates sales and ways that the two departments can work together to benefit various business operations. He also spoke on how the methods are being implemented for the new Chamorro theme park project at Gun Beach.

He said, "We have a new product and on the marketing has to describe what the product is and the sales people we have offices in Japan and other areas where we have direct flights from so we have to explain exactly what it is and the benefit to the visitor and sometime it may seem like its not a difficult thing to do but we want to make sure that the right message gets out to the right people."

The first phase of the Chamorro Theme Park and Cultural Center is slated to open this summer.
