Guam - Reacting to the Attorney General's opinion about the Guam Memorial Hospital's Board of Trustees Nominating Council being inorganic, governor's chief legal counsel James Canto said they are thankful the matter has been clarified and "what has always mattered is that the hospital improves patient care, that it improves patient safety, and that we restore the public's confidence and trust in Guam Memorial Hospital."

Canto went on to say, "This administration is committed to excellence at GMH. We will continue supporting the hospital's hardworking medical professionals and the employees who strive for excellence every day."
