Names for new GEC director kept private
The Guam Election Commission board wrapped up the interview process for the GEC executive director position this afternoon.

Guam - The Guam Election Commission board wrapped up the interview process for the GEC executive director position this afternoon. The board declined to release the names of the applicants at this time stating its still premature and they need to deliberate on who will be their selection.
The GEC will reconvene on Monday, April 4 at 4pm to continue reviewing the applicants before making a decision. The board is also continuing the process to select it independent board member.
Although GEC board members told KUAM News today that it would be premature to release the names of the candidates, we have learned the final three being considered are Naomie Lujan Gonzalez, Teresita Cruz and Maria Pangelinan.
