Young Bulldogs celebrate Chamorro Month

Students of Okkodo High School gathered outside their Dededo campus to celebrate <em>Mes Chamorro</em> (Chamorro Month).

Guam - Students of Okkodo High School gathered outside their Dededo campus to celebrate Mes Chamorro (Chamorro Month). Students displayed signs with words they learned in Guam's native tongue, as well as performed several cultural songs and dances. Students also topped of the event by barbequing for the participants.

"We have bringing-in of dishes, Chamorro-type games like coconut throw, coconut relay, coconut husking, coconut grading so they can get involved by participating in these activates r by bringing in a coconut we also have them weave to help decorate," said teacher Daniel Pangelinan.
