Guam vs. PI in Celeb Hoops Shoot-Out
The Guam Legislature is holding a series of events to help raise money to assist with the Japan recovery effort and one of those fundraisers is scheduled for tomorrow.
By KUAM NewsGuam - The Guam Legislature is holding a series of events to help raise money to assist with the Japan recovery effort and one of those fundraisers is scheduled for tomorrow. The Legislature, along with Governor Eddie Calvo and other island celebrities and dignitaries, will field a team of basketball players for the Guam Philippines Celebrity Shoot-Out 2011.
The Guam team will go head-to-head with over 15 congressional representatives from the Philippines. The match is scheduled for tomorrow at 6pm at Okkodo High School. All proceeds by donation will be presented to the Japan relief and recovery efforts.
