Guam - "Today it has been pretty bad," said Wettengel Elementary School principal Melissa Limo. "In the past we've been able to contain it; today it's just been one of those unfortunate days where it's affected four of the classrooms and the main office."

Students at the Dededo campus got an unexpected break from classes today. Custodians, contractors and Guam Waterworks Authority crews were at the school today working to clean and fix a sewer backup that flooded several classrooms. According to Limo, they've had problems in the past with sewage, but this is the worst she's since she started six years ago.

There's been no word provided yet on whether the school will be ready to reopen on Friday.
