Tourists head for high ground
In the island's tourism district at the top of Pale San Vitores Road in Tumon tourists were heading up trying to seek higher ground after being told of the Tsunami Warning.

By KUAM NewsGuam - In the island's tourism district at the top of Pale San Vitores Road in Tumon tourists were heading up trying to seek higher ground after being told of the Tsunami Warning. Officers with the Guam Police Department blocked-off the street, preventing any cars from heading down toward Tumon.
Officials remind everyone that you are advised to stay off the island's streets until the all-clear is given.
The Tsunami Warning remains in effect until 11pm Friday.
