Guam - Legislation was introduced requiring the Guam Board of Medical Examiners publicly disclose to individual citizens via the Internet what is commonly referred to as a "physician's professional profile." Bill 107 would establish the Patient Protection Through Information Act. The
measure requires temporary restraining orders, interim suspension orders, revocations, suspensions, probations, or limitations on practice ordered by the board among others be disclosed to the public. Senator Tina Muna Barnes states, "No patient should avoid necessary medical care because they are too afraid to receive it. Our measure operates on the premise that truly knowing your physician places patients in charge of patient care."
