Guam - Only one measure was vetoed by the governor today, that was Bill 36 authored by Senator Ben Pangelinan. The legislation would establish a program that the Guam Economic Development Authority would administer to provide grants and loans to small and mid-size businesses adversely affected by the government's road construction projects.
Governor Eddie Calvo said GEDA is already actively operating its community outreach program to promote these micro-loans it is offering to all businesses currently affected by road construction, especially those businesses near the tri-intersection in Barrigada.
