Guam - The Guam Power Authority reports a downed power line was the cause of a power outage for most northern residents last night. GPA Spokesperson Art Perez says the outage affected residents in Yigo and Dededo for about a couple of hours.

He says apparently a transition power line fell on lower power lines resulting in the outage. GPA crews were able to restore power just after 1am this morning.
