Distressed hiker found in Inarajan

A 52-year-old man was rushed to Naval Hospital on Saturday evening after rescue officials received a call about a distressed hiker in Inarajan.

Guam - A 52-year-old man was rushed to Naval Hospital on Saturday evening after rescue officials received a call about a distressed hiker in Inarajan. Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Captain Andy Arceo says the call came in at 5:30pm about the hiker, who was found nearby the University of Guam's Agricultural Experiment Station in Inarajan.

Arceo says emergency responders were able to locate the man, who has not yet been identified. He adds that once they stabilized him on scene, a Navy HSC-25 helicopter transported the hiker to the hospital. Joint Region Marianas Public Affairs Officer Colleen San Nicolas Perez says the man is in good condition
