Guam - The road leading to Two Lovers Point remains closed to the public. The reason: a chlorine leak that was discovered at the Northern Waste Water Treatment Plant.  The discovery was made by a Guam Waterworks Authority's contractor that is removing chlorine gas tanks as part of an ongoing cleanup and maintenance project.

Out of the 12 tanks that were scheduled to be removed this is the seventh and only one so far that chlorine was detected. The entire area was evacuated.

The road will reopen when the area is deemed safe.
