Island celebrates Mes Chamorro downtown

In celebration of Chamorro Month, various cultural groups gathered at the Agana Shopping Center to showcase the Hafa Adai Spirit through song and dance performances.

Guam - In celebration of Chamorro Month, various cultural groups gathered at the Agana Shopping Center to showcase the Hafa Adai Spirit through song and dance performances. Mes Chamorro helps preserve and promote what makes the island unique when it comes to the Chamorro culture, language and heritage.

On Friday, Acting Governor Ray Tenorio signed a proclamation to declare March as Chamorro Month. Various festivities will be planned by schools, and organizations throughout the month.
