Guam - Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo has announced that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has established a new program allowing states and United States territories to offer incentives to Medicaid enrollees who adopt healthy lifestyles. CMS has allocated $100 million for the program, and state and territorial governments may apply for CMS grant funding for initiatives that demonstrate changes in health risk and outcomes, including the adoption of healthy behaviors.

The Affordable Care Act has provided significant reforms that have directly benefited Guam, including an increase in Guam's Medicaid cap to $24 million this fiscal year.
