Nominees due for Guam First Commission
Today at 5pm is the deadline for Chamorro rights organizations to submit their nominations for the individuals they would like to see serve on the Guam First Commission.
By KUAM NewsGuam - Today at 5pm is the deadline for Chamorro rights organizations to submit their nominations for the individuals they would like to see serve on the Guam First Commission. The nominations must be turned into the Office of the President of the Department of Chamorro Affairs located on the 4th floor of the DNA building.
An election will be held this Saturday at the Chamorro Village stage area from 10am to two in the afternoon. Governor Eddie Calvo is waiting for the Chamorro rights organization representative to be designated in order for the Commission to hold its first meeting.
