Guam - The Calvo-Tenorio Inauguration Committee gave more than $90,000 to Kamalen Karidat, which helps the homeless and hungry families and individuals in Hagatna. The operation is funded by donations from the public and the Catholic Church.

First Lady Christine Calvo selected Kamalen Karidat as the recipient of an surplus funds taken in from the ball for Governor Eddie Calvo and Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio. She, her husband and members of the Committee presented the check last Thursday to help the island's less fortunate.
