Man caught stealing from resident

Guam - 25-year-old Rolly Jay Degracia Naputi is behind bars after he allegedly tried to steal items from a Talofofo home in Laugina Estates. Police say the owner came home Friday morning to find the suspects car parked in her garage and her front window broken into.

She called her neighbor and they waited for police to arrive. But before police got to the scene Naputi apparently tried to leave with the items from the home. Police say the owner and her neighbor though refused to let him go.

Naputi was booked and confined on charges of burglary, criminal mischief, and possession of a firearm without a firearms ID.
