Another tour of Nimitz Beach

Guam - The Nimitz Beach Park erosion mitigation effort could begin as soon as next month. Guam Coastal Management Program administrator Evangeline Lujan along with Parks & Rec officials and senators Tina Muna Barnes and Mana Silva Taijeron toured the site today.

Lujan says studies have shown over the past several decades that the water sometimes shows signs of erosion while at other times shows signs of receding. She says they will now get the residents input on what type of mitigation efforts should be pursued.
