JFK wins big against ND in softball

Guam - In girls high school softball the JFK Islanders took to the diamond against the Notre Dame Royals. The Islanders jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first inning behind some good hitting. JFK opened the game up in the 4th scoring 3 runs and another 4 runs in the 5th to take the game 15-5. With the win the Islanders improve to 3-1 on the year.
The winning pitcher of record was Joelene Escobar with 1 strikeout. At the plate Lexine Lingemoh went 4-4 with a single, 2 doubles and a triple to go along with 2 RBIs and scoring 3 runs.
Jovanni Spesungel went 3-4 with a single, a double, 2 RBIs, she also scored 3 runs in the win.
