Guam - Culture and preservation. That's the message in Speaker Judi Won Pat's latest radio address. Won pat spoke on the legislature efforts to protect, preserve and promote our language, culture and public lands. The speaker talks about legislation she introduced that would provide incentives for people to become Chamorro language and culture teachers.

She adds that they are working to fuse the culture efforts with the tourism by promoting the island's villages. In closing she encouraged the community to remain sober to the realities of the military buildup and remain steadfast that Guam is not for sale.
