By KUAM NewsGuam - One meeting that's never happened is that of the Guam First Commission, according to Governor Eddie Calvo he's still waiting for recommendations to be sent in from the Guam Chamber of Commerce and Chamorro Affairs. The governor has asked the president of the Department of Chamorro Affairs to coordinate an election among the members of the Chamorro rights organizations.
The winner of that election will be one of the governor's four appointees. The Commission was mandated to be created by law, but former governor Felix Camacho refused to empanel the group.
