Guam - The island's tourism numbers have dropped significantly over the past few years. The transition report for tourism states that Guam has lost more than $75 million in revenue in Fiscal Year 2010 compared to the average in Fiscal Year 2007. The subcommittee recommends that the Guam Visitor's Bureau review its Fiscal Year 2011 Japan marketing activities to determine what needs to be done to maximize its funding allocation.

The report does point out that GVB's branding efforts have created more revenue generating events in an attempt to reverse the downward trend.
