A lawsuit centering on counting portions of spoiled ballots from the Primary Election is still working its way through the courts.
Ken Leon Guerrero of the political action committee Guam Citizens for Public Accountability is suing the Guam Election Commission and today a scheduling conference was rescheduled to December 4.
Superior Court Judge Vern Perez is hearing the case, which alleges the GEC should have counted portions of spoiled ballots that were not spoiled. Leon Guerrero argued today he was served the day before the hearing and the GEC - represented by legal counsel Vince Camacho - said the GEC had not been officially summoned. Leon Guerrero is representing himself in the case.
