Guam - Committee chair on Appropriations Senator Ben Pangelinan is critical of the numbers presented in the Governor's Weekly Address, saying the governor should collaborate with his cabinet members to ensure accuracy of the financial information he releases to the public. Specifically the veteran policymaker pointed out the $287 million the governor cited as owed in tax refunds.

Pangelinan saying just last week acting Rev & Tax director John Camacho testified that figure was $209 million.  Pangelinan says the $80 million difference needs to be reconciled.

Pangelinan believes the government's financial position is not as bleak as the Calvo Administration is making it seem.
