UOG professor discusses cancer center

By KUAM NewsGuam - Dr. Yvette Paulino, Associate Professor at the University of Guam, was the guest speaker for the Rotary Club of Northern Guam's membership meeting today at the Hyatt Hotel in Tumon.Paulino spoke to the club about their ongoing cancer research efforts.
In 2009, the UOG Cancer Research Center partnered with the Cancer Research Center of Hawaii, receiving a five-year, $12.5 million grant from the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute. Over $8 million will be spent on Guam to address the issues.
