Sharks stomped, shutout by Friars in rugby

Guam - In boys high school rugby last year's champions the Father Duenas Friars handed the Simon Sanchez Sharks the loss 43-0 in their season opener. FD went to work early getting a try from Danilo Rapadas minutes into the match. Keoni Pablo added to the lead taking it in on a nice run.
The Friars never let up continuing to put points on the board, Keoni Pablo ended the game with 2 tries, Rapadas and Bruce Meno each finished with a try in FD's win.
In other scores The Geckos won by forfeit over the St. Paul Warriors, Southern blanked out Guam High 91-0 while the Bulldogs slipped past the Islanders 5-3.
In the girls games, GW beat St. Paul 66-0 Notre Dame Royals 35, John F. Kennedy Islanders 15; Academy of Our Lady of Guam Cougars 47, Okkodo Bulldogs 28; and Southern Dolphins 53, Sharks 26.
