Chamorro rear admiral promoted

By KUAM NewsGuam - Rear Admiral Peter Gumataotao has been promoted to two stars and will be assigned as commander of Carrier Strike Group 11 in San Diego, California. He currently serves as the commander of Naval Forces Korea. His promotion still needs confirmation from the Senate.
Guam congressional delegate Madeleine Bordallo says Rear Admiral Gumatotao continues to make us all proud of his accomplishments as a flag officer in the United States Navy and commends him for his leadership and dedication to our nation.
