New Port GM ready to modernize

Guam - New Port Authority of Guam general manager Pedro Leon Guerrero says he is ready to continue the efforts for the modernization of the agency. He says he is looking forward to the first projects and will keep the pressure on to ensure they are done on time.

Leon Guerrero previously served as Port GM from 1993-1995, and now says of his duties, "It was a very exciting two years with the earthquake happening, so in a way the earthquake and the work of the Port after the earthquake trying to continue the goods to Guam is the same kind of challenge we are going to have with the modernization program because we are going to be taking parts of the port out of operation to do the work."
