Guam - The Guam Memorial Hospital today received a generous donation from Cost-U-Less and Island Fresh. The organizations donated two 32" Toshiba televisions for the hospital's Inpatient Hemodialysis Unit. GMH Deputy Administrator of Nursing Service Jemmabeth Simbillo states that this will help patients pass the time as they undergo lengthy dialysis treatments.

"During the dialysis treatment, patients are required to sit in a chair or lie on a bed for three to four hours at a time." She adds, "Being entertained by a show on TV would definitely allow them to pass the time more quickly or distract them from their discomfort and immobility."
