Guam - Several workshops got underway yesterday at the Guam Legislature. Monday afternoon staff from the various senatorial offices received a briefing from the Legislature's Executive Director Vince Arriola on different policies and procedures such as filling out travel documents, payroll, procurement, and being energy efficient to name a few. These workshops will continue through Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Speaker Judi Won Pat also led an orientation for the 31st Guam Legislature this morning. The meeting covered an array of topics including session proceedings, legislative communications, the processing of bills, resolution certificates, and the Mason's Manual of Legislative Procedures.

Won Pat commented the orientation had been a long time coming.
