Guam - If the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse intends to comply with a court-ordered deadline, the agency has two more days to complete repairs and renovations to the Rays of Hope home in Tamuning. Students were displaced from that facility more than six months ago and have been moved around twice because the repairs were never done.

Despite $290,000 in federal funding being made available in 2009 for the repairs to be made, a state of emergency was declared for the home.

Mental Health management could not be reached for comment on the progress of renovations.
