Guam - In about two months, the Guam Fire Department anticipates - finally - charging for the use of ambulances. Although GFD was hoping to get help from the Guam Memorial Hospital for billing, GMH has since issued a letter of denial.

GFD spokesperson Joey San Nicolas says the work will be outsourced. The fire department hopes to start billing by February 28 and when they do they plan to double the cost of transportation fees. It currently costs $95 for non-emergencies and $195 dollars for emergencies.
