Guam - Republican freshman senator Mana Silva Taijeron is hoping to expedite repairs to southern bridges that have been in desperate need of attention for more than five years. Specifically she would like to see repairs made to the Bile and Pigua bridges in Merizo.

Bill 23 would also expedite repairs to the erosion problems affecting the Agat-Umatac Road. Senator Taijeron said, "We cannot wait until someone gets hurt to get this road fixed."
