Election challenge in island's high court
Guam - The election challenge will be heard in the Supreme Court this week, after justices granted the Gutierrez-Aguon team's emergency motion to speed up the process. The Democrats as we reported alleged all the GEC board members were legit to sit and certify the election results.
The Guam Election Commission and real parties in interest, Governor-elect Eddie Calvo and Lieutenant Governor-elect Ray Tenorio were ordered to submit answers to the writ of mandamus by 8:30 this morning, likewise Gutierrez and Aguon had to file their opening brief at that time as well.
Oppositions are due tomorrow with justices to hear the case Thursday.
