Senate removes war reparations from NDAA

The U.S. Senate has removed Guam war reparations from the National Defense Authorization Act.

Guam - The U.S. Senate has removed Guam war reparations from the National Defense Authorization Act. Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo reacted by saying, "I am extremely disappointed in the decision by Senate leaders to remove Guam War Claims from the compromise defense authorization bill. 

"I will be meeting with House and Senate leaders tomorrow to discuss the way forward for this important legislation."
