Governor in Vietnam for trade mission

Governor Felix Camacho is in Vietnam on a trade mission visiting Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem.

Guam - Governor Felix Camacho is in Vietnam on a trade mission visiting Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem. The pair discussed opportunities that could be mutually beneficial such as tourism, trade, higher education and agriculture. Camacho states, "I am very grateful for the invitation to visit with the deputy prime minister and share ways we can strengthen our trade relations.

"We understand that Asia has and will continue to play a vital role in the development of our economy. This is why I support the exploration of trade and other pertinent opportunities with Vietnam within legal requirements."

The governor is expected to return this week.
